Shia sources of religious emulation pay a visit to Islamic Research Foundation

(ABNA24.com) Prominent Shia sources of religious emulation Ayatollah Javadi Amoli and Ayatollah Sobhani made separate visits to Astan Quds Razavi’s Islamic Research Foundation and met with the research center’s members of the board of directors.

Addressing board members, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli introduced global-level understanding as a prerequisite for realization of globalization.

Director of the Islamic Research Foundation Hoj. Marvian Hosseini appreciated the visits, briefing the two Shia sources of religious emulation on the recent achievements of the research center.  

Receiving the director’s report, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli appreciated the center's great endeavor and expressed hope the achievements would be acceptable to Imam Mahdi (AS).

“Quran speaks in a global language and it will rule over the entire universe,” Javadi Amoli said adding “According to the Prophet, ‘Islam will gain a superior position in the world and nothing shall dominate Islam’. This is the end goal that must be realized.”

Noting that the Holy Quran and the Infallible Household of the Prophet (pbuh) are inseparable and complementary to each other, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stressed: “To become a global researcher, we have to understand global developments.”

He added: “We have to learn about world lines of thought in order to express and realize our rightful thoughts. We have to evaluate world schools of thought to prove our rightful words as well.”

Also Ayatollah Sobhani, a prominent scholar in various Islamic fields such as jurisprudence, dialectical theology and interpretation, in his visit to the Islamic Research Foundation, was briefed by the managing director Marvian Hosseini on the performance and achievements of this research center.

“Over 50 books written by Seyyed Morteza Alamolhoda or other authors about his life will be published soon,” Marvian Hosseini informed the Ayatollah.

Ayatollah Sobhani, in turn, addressed the staff and Quoted a verse from the Holy Quran which says “Indeed, We have given you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest, That Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow and complete His favor upon you and guide you to a straight path”, saying “The conquest of Mecca empowered Islam and put an end to insults and defamation against Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his household (AS).”

Ayatollah Sobhani noted that publishing works by renowned Shia scholars, such as Ayatollah Alamolhoda’s works, will have the same effect in thwarting enemies’ attacks and removing their doubts.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Sobhani urged Islamic centers to learn about one another’s projects and published works to avoid repetition.

Concluding his remarks, Ayatollah Sobhani advised the researchers and staff of the Islamic Research Foundation to show double endeavor to safeguard Islam and Shia.

The two visits both continued with some questions posed by the staff and researchers of the center which were all answered by Ayatollah Sobhani and Ayatollah Javadi Amoli.

It is for years that Islamic Research Foundation hosts a considerable number of Muslim scholars and thinkers with valuable works in support of Islam and Imamate (Islamic leadership) and Vilayat (Islamic guardianship).
